Hiking and walks

Hiking in the Scorff valley

There are over 300km of hiking paths in the Scorff valley nowadays. A ridge (marked in light blue) starting from the origins of the ocean, from Mellionnec in the Côtes d’Armor to Queven at the entrance of Lorient and many other loops related to this circuit: Pontakalleg forest, Kernascléden paths, Lignol and Persquen, Guilligomarc’h paths…

Krenenan and Kenepevan circuits will lead you through the woods and sunken lanes while walking along the Scorff riverbanks. It is a good opportunity to discover the richness of the historical heritage: churches, chapels, castles, mills and villages.

The Arzano to Plouay circuit will make you discover the region’s past: the Roc’h site and its feudal butte, its mill and its eel fishing ground, Ste Anne’s camp and chapel, Auguste Brizeux’s stele, villages, especially Buzidou, peopled since the Iron Age and the Roman period.
